Congrats on surviving it! I caught the Atlanta show and had a good time up in the earbleed seats. I was wearing a mask and enjoyed singing along lustily knowing nobody would be able to identify me afterwards as That Terrible Singer. (I picture them asking "who WAS that masked man?")

That backup singer is amazing. She had a hell of a job -- sing harmony, and then belt out the Forest Queen's aria, oh and could you play third guitar and maybe a bit of banjo too? And run over to Jenny's station and keyboard some while you're at it. It must be hard to audition for superwoman.

Thanks for the fun time. Totally worth extending my trip and driving from Nashville to Atlanta for! And it was great to have the tour diary. The added suspense of your vocal cords teetering on the edge of collapse really charged the days before showtime with heightened excitement. Will it be Froglin Meloy Croaks His Way Through The Decemberists Greatest Hits, or will it work? (All praise Prednisone, the only way my beloved can sing accurately at gigs now)
