Loved being a virtual fly on the wall for this wonderful conversation between friends. I especially liked Jon Klassen’s description of “your brain wandering off on you…” and the lead-in story about the physicist crossing the road (there’s a ready-made joke in there). Actually just adored the whole episode - such a treat to hear about everyone’s creative processes. Looking forward to more episodes. Thank you!
Vera Brosgol! We were long-time-ago knitting community acquaintances (mostly through the internet though I did live in Portland back then). Crazy to hear that name again.
This sounds so great! I’ve always wanted to be a guest at your farm and this sounds like the closest thing short of flying to Portland and surprising you and Carson with artisan bread (which I would do upon request).
Intro song is almost too catchy. Wonderful idea for a podcast and seems like a great way to discover more artists/interesting people.

Is anybody else having trouble adding this podcast to Pocket Casts? I've tried tapping the link and manually entering the RSS, but no luck so far.
Purchased one of Jon's books - I Want My Hat Back. Looks great!
That intro song 🤌 Also this idea is pretty top-notch too.
You know we are all lobbying to be houseguests now, and to prove how fascinating we can be!
This is Not My Hat is our very favorite.
Nice starting music. Very 70’s U.K. kids tv stylee. Mary Mungo and Midge type of stuff. 😆😆
This is great!
Excellent! I look forward to it. And thanks for playing Bandit Queen recently, despite the snap, crackle, pop from your guitar.

I have about 400 hats so you're books make me happy. (Well, your book titles anyway, since I haven't read them yet).
