I was at the Monday night LA show and I have to say, I loved the set list. The energy was great and I had the best time! I hadn’t seen you guys live since Bonnarroo 2009 so this small venue was a treat for me. I love the tour diary, it’s nice to read about what tour is actually like, I love the honesty.
I went to the show in Portland at Edgefield because I refused to go to this L.A. venue. I hope you guys go back to playing at the Wiltern, the Greek, or the Hollywood Bowl.
Speaking of The Whole Shebang (I won’t stop calling it this), we will be traveling and have tickets to see the Spokane show, is there any way to upgrade tickets from GA to “VIP” without buying new tickets?
I often wonder what reel musicians think about LA. Is it all plastic souls wrapped in cellophane? Tonight I listen to Natalie echo my latest regrets & uncertainties. It's a sad life sometimes when the map to your journey has been re-routed to the next dimension. Thanks Colin for being honest and a bit guarded with being surrounded by these celebrities. I miss how music shaped me inside the doorway. One noted point , why not telephone James for some backing vocals on "Burial Ground"? It must be a Portland, ORE thing and I am not in the same zip code.
Better to be sallow, middle-aged Portlanders than sallow-cheeked with your undies showing.
I do love reading about close-to-home shows (LA). Monday's set list was incredible!

I love reading the tour diary entries much. Thanks for taking the time to write them for us!
Thank you for playing The Hazards of Love 1 on 7/15. It was a moment to savor my whole life through.
It was good to see you guys play in San Diego last night. Looking forward to what you really think of the freeloadin’ dinghies.
Please oh please play Burying Davy at Edgefield. I’ll beg if needed, or am I already begging..
I second this begging!
You guys look so Portland! Great songs. Congrats.
So awesome!! I love that you were walking around Broadway — parts of Blade Runner were actually shot in the Bradbury building :)
Thanks for writing this and showing the clip. We don’t get the show here in Portugal.

Your Kimmel appearance was outstanding! Thank you for sharing, Colin.
Tallulah Bankhead, a random name I know well because of all the local history field trips I went on as a kid, all because she was born here.

A rare un-hatted Chris Funk during the Kimmel recording. Is that his hat on Nate?
