Live Songs: Tristan and Iseult
An outtake from CMSL
Here I am, at the Aladdin Theater in 2006, carelessly casting aspersions on the cities of Boise and Missoula, and playing a Tarkio song called “Tristan and Iseult” on a ever-so-slightly out of tune guitar. A perfect mood for a Saturday morning/afternoon/evening, wherever you happen to be. This was recorded by Rich Hipp on my solo tour in ‘06; a select few tracks from that tour became my 2008 solo live record “Colin Meloy Sings Live.” This one didn’t make the cut, leastways out of consideration for the feelings of people from Boise and Missoula.
