One of the earlier songs written for the WATW,WABW sessions, “Make You Better” existed as little fragments in the notebook for a few years before it became a song. Here I am, with the chords and the rhythm shape barely under my control, recording a home demo to share with the band. There’s a scappy-ness here that’s maybe gone in the final recording, but that’s what happens when you actually learn how a song goes, I suppose.
